I’m the owner and in-house producer here at Gafro. I designed the studio back in 2016 and after 2 years of renovating a disused textile mill in Elland I opened the studio to the public. Based in West Yorkshire and only a few minutes from the M62, the studio is easily accessible from Leeds, Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield I’ve worked with a wide range of local, Yorkshire artists and artists from all over the UK.
I love creating huge soundscapes and massive, natural drums. From singing into an electric kazoo running into a 5150 to hanging microphones out of the windows to record the river behind the studio, I can’t resist experimenting with weird ideas to create unique sounds on everything I work on.
